With the passage of time, factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight changes, and gravity can cause breasts to lose their firmness and descend. Breast pexy, or breast lift, is the surgical procedure designed to correct this drooping (ptosis), relocating breast tissue to a higher and more aesthetic position.
This procedure not only improves bust height but also allows remodeling its contour and returning a more youthful and firm appearance.
Breast pexy is indicated for women who present:
Sagging or flaccid breasts, where the nipple is located below the inframammary fold.
Loss of volume and firmness, giving an appearance of "empty" breasts in the upper part.
Stretched skin and enlarged areolas due to breast tissue weight.
Breast asymmetry, where one breast is lower than the other.
Depending on the needs of each patient, Dr. Pérez can perform different types of pexy:
Ideal for patients who, in addition to lifting the bust, wish to increase its size or recover lost volume.
Uses the breast tissue itself to remodel and lift the breast, achieving a natural result without the need for prostheses.
Dr. Pérez employs advanced techniques that minimize scars and ensure lasting results. Incisions are carefully planned according to the degree of drooping:
• Periareolar: Around the areola, for mild sagging.
• Vertical: Around the areola and vertically downwards, for moderate sagging.
• Inverted T: For severe sagging or when significant skin removal is required.
